Arty Trost, Senior Consultant

Arty Trost is a nationally known consultant who specializes in leadership development,  Board development, performance management, and thoughtful risk taking to reach individual and organizational potential.  She describes herself as a trouble shooter and sometimes trouble maker for management, depending on what is needed for the client  organization. Her consulting and workshops focus on helping people develop their abilities and expand their options.  Arty is known for the high level of energy, enthusiasm and curiosity that she brings to her work.

 Her extensive consulting experience provides a rich resource for participants. Her clients range from Fortune 500 corporations to public agencies to small grass-roots community organizations throughout the United States. Arty has presented workshops, seminars and institutes throughout the U.S., as well as keynoting national, regional and state conferences.  In 1989 she was honored by an invitation to become a member of the internationally renowned NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science. She is also co-author of the book Gaining Momentum for Board Action.

 Arty lives with her husband on an “old MacDonald’s farm”. When she’s not consulting or cleaning out the barn, she is flying her ultralight (often called a telephone pole with wings and an engine,) as often and far as possible.
