Carri Munn, Associate
Carri has played key roles in growing businesses and nonprofit organizations, focusing on strategic planning, systems development, governance, community outreach, marketing, and project management. She’s always ready to ask, “what’s going on?,” listen attentively to what follows, and then let her creativity loose for some collaborative problem solving.
Prior to joining Decisions Decisions in 2004, she spent three years providing support to Portland’s community development corporations and nearly a decade as acquisitions manager and marketing director for property management companies. Carri received her masters degree in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration from Portland State University. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a BA in Political Theory and a minor in Philosophy. She has expertise in program evaluation, research and policy analysis, human resources management, online communications, and web development. Carri served on the board of CNRG, the Community Nonprofit Resource Group, and is currently an advisory board member for The Pangaea Project.
Carri maintains a regular yoga practice that provides her the patience and energy to thoroughly enjoy mothering two school-age children. Aside from a constant flow of snacks, she can whip up a great dinner party for ten using the bounty of her urban garden. She enjoys dance, the ancient art of henna, live music, and backpacking.
