Green Hammer Construction unites the use of advanced technologies in energy efficiency with the intelligent use of earth friendly materials and design concepts. Their building philosophy incorporates environmental and economic sustainability, but they felt a sole proprietor model did not live up to their vision of social sustainability. Green Hammer called in D2 to develop a path to shared equity ownership that allows all members of the company a greater share in the success of their Portland based business.

• We built the leadership team’s working relationships by enhancing understanding of each individual’s decision-making and communication style.
• We developed a cooperative charter to hold essential agreements on business issues, relationships among owners, and planning for the future.
• We facilitated a strategic plan to clarify roles and guide organizational development and operations over the next several years.
